Pareidolia

Pareidolia

2026

A root, pulled from the ground. Nothing more.
And yet the eye insists otherwise—a skull, a beak, the remains of a creature suspended between life and decay. The mind refuses to leave ambiguity alone; it reaches for the familiar and calls it recognition.

Pareidolia is not what the object is, but what we cannot stop ourselves from seeing in it. Memory, expectation, and imagination complete what the eye only begins.
